The Travelling Riverside Blues Band have been bringing their brand of raw, rocking rhythm and blues to audiences for decades, with roots stretching all the way back to the 1970s.
The line-up has evolved over the years, but original member and lead guitarist Jonnie ‘Slide’ Alderson remains at the heart of the band.
Their sound is rooted in classic rhythm and blues but delivered with plenty of energy, grit and rock ’n’ roll attitude.
The result is the sort of live music that doesn’t need much introduction – feet start tapping, hands start clapping and before long, the whole room is joining in. Raw, rocking and made for a Sunday afternoon.
