Saturday 21st November 2026 | 7pm until late
Join us at The Donkey for a night of great country and acoustic music with Leicester singer-songwriter David Wainwright.
Born and raised in Coalville, David’s musical roots were shaped by the sounds of iconic working-class artists including Elvis Presley, Bruce Springsteen, Neil Diamond, Tom Jones and Johnny Cash.
Drawing on these influences, David brings his own blend of country music, storytelling and original songwriting to the stage, alongside some familiar favourites to get everyone singing along.
David’s latest single, ‘Reckoning’, is available now on all major streaming platforms.
